
Bijoyeta Sahoria Das is an artist exploring the world through written stories and visual frames. She has reported for Al Jazeera, Radio France, Radio Netherlands, and Deutsche Welle, covering South and Southeast Asia, Africa, the US, and Turkey. Das has worked in media development and humanitarian communications for Action Africa Help International, European Journalism Center, Women Deliver, and the Metta Center for Nonviolence. As a fellow at Columbia University’s Alliance for Historical Dialogue and Accountability institute, she documented stories of survivors of the 1971 Liberation War of Bangladesh. She also authored a creative nonfiction biography about Haiti’s first female prime minister. Her films have won multiple awards at international film festivals. She is also an explorer of AI and emerging technologies in media production, experimenting with new forms of storytelling at the intersection of art and innovation.
